| Indianapolis Tweed Ride
What's better than dressing up in gentlemanly attire and bicycling around Indianapolis in late October? Possibly the month of crazy costume prep leading up to it. The Indianapolis Tweed Ride is, without a doubt, my favorite event all year. I have been fortunate enough to win Best Dressed (or Chappiest Chap) for two out of the three years the ride has been going.
My enthusiasm for this event is evident in the photos:

Whiteboard Shenanigans
I like fun work environments. I also don't believe that the things you want will just come along while you wait. So I started writing welcome messages to new hires in calligraphy on whiteboards. Eventually, I was asked to do this in a pseudo-official capacity on the large whiteboard in the breakroom. As my messages evolved, they moved from calligraphy to drawings to full on paintings using wet-erase paint markers.
Most of the illustrations have been hosted on my Lunch Sketches site. Click on through to see more information and progress shots.

| Lunch Sketches
Wanting to get back into the swing of regular drawing, I took to doing a one-hour time-boxed sketch each day over lunch. While the project took an indefinite hiatus to make room for other projects during my lunch breaks, the entirety of the silly drawings remain. Most of the drawings were completed using Zig Millenium, Micron, or Rapidograph pens.
